Alex Banks

Alex Banks is a DJ, producer, and multi-instrumentalist from Brighton, UK, praised by BBC Radio 6, Mixmag, Clash, and Uncut for music that merges dancefloor energy with emotional depth. His detailed sound design fuses jungle, broken beat, and dubstep rhythms with techno textures and melodic IDM flourishes.

His third studio album, Projections—released on Max Cooper’s Mesh—distills his passion for analogue experimentation and emotive synth work, accompanied by visuals from Matthew Clugston and Tosh Fieldsend of The Mill. Banks has released on Monkeytown, Ninja Tune, and Just This, and remixed artists including Bonobo, RY-X, and Raven Bush.

Beyond the club, he composes for film, TV, and brands such as Nike and Heineken. Constantly evolving, Banks continues to expand his craft through new collaborations and a live AV show that reflects his boundary-pushing approach to sound and design.
