The underground experiment continues with Chicola’s place in the scene...

In 2017, Chicola cemented his reputation with the Yoav EP on Lost & Found, which hit No. 1 on Beatport’s Progressive House chart, followed by his debut album Could Be Heaven: a Beatport Electronica chart-topper also reaching the No. 2 and 3 spots in Progressive House and Techno. Supported by Nicole Moudaber, Hernán Cattáneo, Nick Warren, Guy Mantzur, and championed by Tale of Us, the album’s impact was global. Touring across Russia, Hungary, India, and Argentina, Chicola delivered standout shows including The Bow in Buenos Aires and Tomorrowland 2018. With acclaimed remixes from Karmon, Ruede Hagelstein, and Johannes Brecht, Could Be Heaven solidified his standing as one of underground dance music’s most innovative artists.
