Cid Inc

Long before progressive house settled into its modern identity, Cid Inc was already exploring the territory between hypnotic techno, deep grooves and experimental electronica. Born in Sweden and based in Finland, Henri Hurtig began DJing in 1993, drawing early inspiration from Aphex Twin, Underworld and The Future Sound of London. Following success as one half of Mashtronic, he launched Cid Inc in 2008, developing a distinctive sound built around intricate rhythms, atmospheric tension and meticulous production. His catalogue spans influential labels including Bedrock, Lost & Found, Sudbeat, Anjunadeep and microCastle, while his own Replug Records, founded in 2009, has become an important platform for emerging and established progressive talent. Equally respected for his mastering expertise, Cid Inc remains a producer's producer, bringing technical precision and an experimental sensibility to music designed for the dancefloor.
