Kasper Koman explores the hypnotic and emotive side of progressive house.
Kasper Koman has developed a knack for finding the sweet spot between progressive house’s hypnotic rhythms and its more emotionally expressive tendencies. The Dutch producer, based in Utrecht, approaches his music with a restless curiosity, layering intricate percussion, evolving melodies and unexpected sonic details into tracks that reward patient listening as much as dancefloor immersion. His productions have found homes on respected labels including Guy J’s Lost & Found, Bedrock, Anjunadeep, Meanwhile and Lost Miracle, earning support from Hernán Cattáneo, Guy Mantzur, Khen and Eelke Kleijn. His sound remains firmly rooted in progressive house, but it's the playful experimentation and attention to detail that give his productions their distinctive character.
