From the progressive house classic My Lexicon to his genre-crossing productions and DJ sets, Sander Kleinenberg has spent decades redefining the possibilities of house music.

Few artists have navigated the changing currents of house music with the versatility of Sander Kleinenberg. Emerging from the Netherlands’ electronic underground in the 1990s, the Dutch DJ and producer helped define progressive house’s golden era with landmark tracks including My Lexicon and Sacred. His acclaimed Nubreed and Everybody mix albums revealed a broader musical appetite, moving between progressive house, disco, funk and techno with an irreverent sense of adventure. Founding Little Mountain Recordings in 2003, Kleinenberg continued to push beyond genre boundaries with dancefloor favourites The Fruit and This Is Miami, while his remix work extended to Justin Timberlake, Daft Punk and Janet Jackson. A pioneer of integrating live visuals into DJ performances, his international career has taken him from Ibiza’s Pacha to clubs and festivals across the globe. Decades into his career, Kleinenberg remains an artist equally connected to progressive house’s foundations and the possibilities beyond them.
