Subandrio

Growing up surrounded by touring musicians, Subandrio developed an early fascination with sound that would eventually take him from Sri Lanka's underground scene to dancefloors around the world. Active behind the decks since 1996, the Colombo-based DJ and producer has cultivated a distinctive approach to progressive house, weaving deep, hypnotic grooves, dark melodic textures and intricate percussion into immersive musical journeys. His international production career began in 2014 with a release on Lowbit Records, followed by an extensive catalogue spanning Sudbeat, Replug, Mango Alley, Juicebox Music and Vapour Recordings. A longstanding figure in Sri Lanka's electronic music community, Subandrio continues to connect his underground roots with the wider progressive house scene.
