For Tom Bug, house music has always been about more than simply playing records. A fixture of Croatia’s club scene for over two decades, the Zagreb-based DJ and producer has helped cultivate a thriving community around the music through his Dobar House brand, which began as a club night in 2016 before expanding into a record label two years later. His sets move freely between deep, soulful and groove-driven house, with an instinct for keeping dancefloors moving that has taken him from Zagreb’s Peti Kupe to Barbarella’s, Carpe Diem and clubs across Europe and the US. His productions have appeared on respected imprints including Snatch! Records, Get Physical, Simma Black and Soulfuric Trax, while his collaboration with Grooveline, Treat Me Right, won House Single of the Year at Croatia’s 2025 Elector Awards. Through Dobar House, Tom Bug continues to champion local talent and strengthen Croatia’s connection to the wider international house music community.
